Gift of Grace

This Easter, I'm Giving Myself The Gift Of Grace

Easter used to mean dyeing eggs, hiding baskets, and spring cleaning the house until it sparkled. But now? It's about something a little deeper.

With Ariella's first Easter just around the corner, I find myself thinking less about the perfect holiday and more about how I can make this one full of love, laughter, and family moments.

This Easter, I'm embracing the joy of doing less. No perfection, Only Jesus is. No stress. Jesus took that with Him for us all to the cross. Just the magic and celebration of our Lord, Jesus Christ and getting to see the magic of Ariella discovering her first Easter egg sewn in beautiful colors from Grandma Kris, and the happiness of being present in every little moment.

Sure, there will be baskets and bunnies, and I'm already planning a ridiculous number of pastel-colored outfits for Ariel choosing only three total. But really, it's about finding peace in the quiet moments with my family.

As we celebrate this season of renewal, I'm reminding myself of the beautiful words from Isaiah 40:31: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

And I'm learning that sometimes, renewal doesn't come from the big, grand moments- it comes from the soft, every day ones. So, here's to Easter joy, to family traditions new or old, and to a little grace in the mess. Happy Easter, everyone! He has risen, He has risen indeed! May your baskets be full, your hearts be light, and your holiday magic be more than just candy-filled eggs.

Love from my couch to yours,
Ariella's Mama
