Ariella Says: 2 Months of Snuggles, Sass & Side-Eyes
Hi friends, it's me again— Ariella! I just turned 2 months old, and wow, do I have some thoughts. I may be small, but I've got big opinions (and even bigger burps).
Let's catch up, shall we?
Things I'm Loving This Month:
Being held 97% of the time. I don't care if your coffee's getting cold, Mama. I am the main beverage now.
Cooing like I have a secret to tell you. Spoiler alert: the secret is I'm adorable and I know it.
My swing with the stars above me. I gaze up like I'm pondering the meaning of life— or just plotting how to keep Mama from putting me down.
Things I'm NOT Loving:
Tummy time. Excuse me, why am I being placed face-down like a soggy burrito?
Sudden silence. If the music stops or the room gets quiet? I will launch an investigation.
Being passed from Mommy or Daddy's arms to anyone else. The betrayal! The audacity!
Important Developments:
I've started smiling on purpose, even so in my first month of life right out of mamas womb. Let me tell you, I could end world wars with this grin.
I'm experimenting with my vocal range. One moment I'm a sleepy coo, the next I'm a full-blown opera diva in the middle of Target.
I give world-class side-eyes now. Don't test me.
A Note to Mama:
Thanks for learning my cries, holding me through the hiccups, and letting me snooze on your chest even when your bladder begged for mercy. You're doing amazing—even when I throw in a surprise blowout just for fun.
Alright, I'm off to star at my swing's stars and contemplate life. Until next month, stay cute and snuggly, just like me.
Love,
Ariella (aka The Boss Baby)
