Becoming Me Notes
May’s Whisper: The Becoming is in the Bloom
Lately, I've been thinking about how becoming doesn't always look like a grand transformation. Sometimes it's subtle — like a soft strength growing where there used to be self-doubt, or a quiet boundary forming where chaos used to crash in. It's not always visible on the outside, but deep within, there's movement. A shift. A blooming.
This month, I've caught myself pausing to breathe in the little things: the warmth of Ariella sleeping on my chest, the morning light streaming through the kitchen window the way my own voice sounds when I say "I'm proud of me." That's not something I used to say. That's becoming.
If you're reading this, maybe you're becoming too. Maybe you're learning to trust yourself again. Maybe you're figuring out who you are now that the pieces have shifted. It doesn't have to be loud. Growth can be quiet. Healing can be slow. Becoming is allowed to take its time.
So here's your gentle nudge: keep going. Keep blooming. Even if it's messy. Even if it's hard. Because the you that's unfolding? She's magic.
With grace and coffee,
- Ariella's Mama
