Welcome to the Mess and the Magic

aka Why I'm Sharing These Real Mom Moments With You

There are days I feel like I'm nailing this motherhood thing — like when I manage to brush my teeth and get Ariella down for a nap without a 12 step negotiation.

And then there are the other days.
The real ones.

The ones where I wear the same shirt three days in a row because I'm too tired to care and too sentimental to wash off the baby spit-up. The ones where I hide in the pantry and eat a granola bar while my daughter's blanket time  lasts exactly long enough for me to feel guilty for wanting a break.

This space — Real Mom Moments — is for those days.

It's for the moms who are doing their best while feeling like a beautiful disaster. The moms who love so hard it hurts... and sometimes cry in the bathroom after bedtime because the day was just a lot.
The moms who are healing, growing, learning, and choosing to show up even when they're unsure they're doing it right.

Here, I'll share real stories.
The funny. The frustrating. The fleeting sweetness.

I'll share these moments not because I have it all figured out, I do not. But because I'm living it with you.
And sometimes, the reminder that we're not alone is all we need.

Real Mom Moment of the Day:

I finally got the baby down for a nap, and instead of cleaning or doing anything remotely productive, I sat in silence and drank lukewarm coffee while staring at the monitor like it was a season finale of a drama series. I didn't move. I didn't talk.

And you know what?
It was glorious.

Because sometimes, the most sacred thing we do all day...
is nothing at all.
Stick Around, Mama

There's more realness coming — because this motherhood thing is too beautiful (and too bonkers) to navigate alone.
Let's laugh, cry, vent, cheer, and survive nap time together.
