Coffee Reheated, Toddler in Arms Reach, Blog Reopened
The last time I was regularly writing here, I had a newborn.
Now that newborn is a one-year-old who keeps me on my toes, steals my snacks, and somehow manages to make my heart grow bigger every single day.
If you’ve noticed things have been a little quiet here, you’re not imagining it.
This mama took a break.
Not a dramatic “I’m never blogging again” kind of break — more like a life got really full, really fast kind of break. And honestly, I think a lot of moms understand that kind.
When I first started Ariella’s Mama, Ariella was tiny. My days were filled with newborn snuggles, late-night bottle feeds, and learning how to navigate this brand-new season of life called motherhood.
And then somehow… time moved.
The newborn stage turned into giggles.
Giggles turned into crawling.
And before I knew it, that tiny little baby turned one year old.
Between chasing a busy toddler, soaking up the sweet moments, and trying to keep my coffee warm long enough to drink it, blogging took a quiet pause.
And you know what?
That’s okay.
Motherhood has a funny way of reminding you that not everything needs to happen all at once. Some seasons are meant for creating, sharing, and building. Other seasons are meant for slowing down, soaking in the moments, and simply being present.
The past year has been a little bit of both.
But even during the break, the stories never stopped.
The funny moments.
The messy moments.
The “did that really just happen?” moments.
Somewhere between diaper changes, toddler giggles, and rocking chairs, I kept thinking:
I really miss my blog.
I missed writing.
I missed sharing.
And I missed the idea that maybe one tired mama somewhere could read something here and feel a little less alone.
So here we are.
The coffee is reheated.
The baby is now a one-year-old with a big personality.
And this little corner of the internet is open again.
Moving forward, you can expect the same heart behind this space:
🦋 Honest mom life
🦋 Encouragement for tired mamas
🦋 Faith, grace, and imperfect days
🦋 Funny real-life moments
🦋 Stories from raising Ariella
Because motherhood isn’t about perfection.
It’s about showing up, loving deeply, laughing through the chaos, and giving ourselves grace along the way.
And if you’re a mama reading this today — whether your coffee is cold, your toddler is climbing something they shouldn’t, or your house looks like a toy store exploded — I just want you to know something:
You’re doing an amazing job.
I’m really glad you’re here.
And I’m really glad to be back.
With love,
Mama 🤍
