Ariella Took Her First Steps!
Today, our little world got just a little bit bigger.
Ariella took her very first unassisted steps.
Not across the whole room.
Not perfectly.
Just a few tiny, wobbly, determined steps that made our hearts stop for a moment.
She's still mostly crawling, and honestly, I think she'll be doing both for a little while. But today was different.
Today she realized she could.
I don't think she'll remember these first few steps.
She won't remember the excitement in our voices or the way we looked at each other with huge smiles after she did it.
She won't remember how proud we were.
But I will.
I'll remember how brave those little steps looked.
How determined she was to keep trying.
How a moment that lasted only seconds somehow became a memory I'll carry forever.
Motherhood has a way of teaching you that the biggest milestones don't always come with the biggest moments.
Sometimes they come in three tiny steps across the living room.
Today wasn't about walking perfectly.
It was about beginning.
And every beginning deserves to be celebrated.
Way to go, Ariel.
Dad and I couldn't be more proud of you.
One tiny step at a time, you're growing into the incredible little girl we already know you're becoming. 🩷
